VLR seeks a balance between openness and intimacy. In times when the home has also become a workplace, the project proposes a functional and elegant solution: a linear, multifunctional piece of furniture that spans the space beneath an imposing exposed concrete structure.

This element not only divides without enclosing, but also addresses the essentials: kitchen, foldable bed, storage, utilities, and entryway —all integrated into a shifting geometry that responds to each use. Natural light enters generously, and the essence of the original building remains visible, reminding us that the intervention does not erase: it accompanies, organizes, and enhances what already exists.
