Casa Dolores is a house that transforms without forgetting who it is.
By respecting what exists, the project recovers the original soul of the home and amplifies its potential, relying on traditional techniques and materials that connect with local know-how.
Its thick, honest river rock walls are not only preserved: they are celebrated. The textures visible on the facades reveal the history of a house built in layers, with extensions now reinterpreted as spatial richness. The intervention culminates with whitewashing, which unifies the roughness and defines a warm, intimate, and simple palette. The extension, far from imposing, fits in, occupying contiguous exterior spaces, generating new connections between the interior and the landscape.
Each room opens outward, creating fluid and diverse paths, and giving this village house a new way of living: open, sensitive, and contemporary. Everything opens. Everything breathes. An architecture that doesn’t impose, but accompanies.
